Nivotherm’s founder, Kaan ŞABAHAT, brings over 12 years of managerial and field experience in technical textiles and high-temperature insulation. The experience gained in the defense industry, energy, automotive, and industrial production facilities forms the foundation of our company’s engineering approach.
Nivotherm operates in the fields of removable insulation jackets, high-temperature technical textiles, welding protection products, fire-resistant textile solutions, and specialized engineering applications. Nivotherm’s expertise in industrial insulation has, over time, led to the development of new solutions in the field of fire safety, resulting in the launch of the Nivofire brand in 2023.
Nivofire offers pioneering solutions in the industry with its fire limitation blankets, developed to minimize the risks of high temperatures and toxic gases caused by thermal runaway in electric vehicle fires. In line with growing national and international demand, Nivofire became an independent company in 2026.
Nivotherm and Nivofire products are used in over 100 projects in Turkey and are preferred in numerous projects across more than 10 European countries and the United Kingdom. All our products are tested in independent and accredited laboratories and certified according to national and international standards.
Nivofire has successfully completed the DIN SPEC 91489 certification process, which is recognized as one of the world’s most rigorous standards in the field of electric vehicle fire blankets. The Nivofire BETA Fire Limitation Blanket has been certified after meeting all criteria of the standard in tests conducted at accredited laboratories in Germany.
