Intervening in a 100% Electric Vehicle Fire with a Fire Blanket
In collaboration with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, we conducted a groundbreaking fire drill, the first of its kind in the world. We set a fully operational electric car on fire in a controlled manner to simulate one of the most challenging emergency scenarios. So, what was the purpose? To test our latest product, the Texograft Alpha Electric Vehicle (EV) Fire Blanket, under the most difficult conditions. Designed to withstand extremely high temperatures, the Texograft Alpha fire blanket suppressed the flames in just a few minutes, prevented the spread of toxic gases, and stopped the fire from spreading to the surroundings. This drill was not just a test; it was also a milestone.
